Each year at CES, the SoundStage! Network presents awards to manufacturers of a select group of products that were reviewed in previous years. The winners were selected from products reviewed on SoundStage!, Home Theater & Sound, GoodSound!, and Ultra Audio that already received Reviewers' Choice, Great Buy!, or Select Component awards within those publications.
The new Lifetime Achievement award is given to someone who deserves special recognition for their outstanding contributions to the audio/video industry. This year's winner is the late Jim Thiel of Thiel Audio, who passed away in September 2009.
